Same Day Reports

We provide you with a comprehensive report that details any issues or concerns. We aim to have your report to you within 3hrs completion of inspection but guarantee you will receive it the same day.

Clinton & Rebecca

We are Clinton and Rebecca Bargenquast, founders and directors of Saurus Constructions Pty Ltd. We are a husband-and-wife team with three lovely sons and have been in the building business for over 30 years.

Saurus Constructions was established in 2007. We are immensely proud of our journey and the great reputation we acquired among our peers and community along the way. We love living in this part of the world and servicing the Fraser Coast, Bundaberg, Sunshine Coast, South Burnett- Gayndah- Mt Perry and Mundubbera regions.

In our spare time, we enjoy being with family and friends, overhauling vintage cars, fishing, and camping. We take great joy in planning our next projects and adventures because life is short and we really like working hard on our goals. We have built nine house and land packages, renovated and flipped 13 for ourselves (lost count for others) and we manage our own rental investment properties – Rebecca gets attached to some we are meant to buy and flip- so we rent them out!

Onsite Assessment

Clinton completes a thorough building and pest inspection while Rebecca documents findings with photos and notes. The inspection usually takes around one hour.

FAQ's

What happens on inspections day?

Saurus Constructions will give you an inspection time, though we ask for a little flexibility as we may arrive slightly early or slightly late. We pride ourselves on great communication and keep all parties updated, including agents, buyers, sellers and tenants.Your inspection is carried out by Clinton and Rebecca, a husband and wife team. Clinton completes the inspection while Rebecca takes photos and notes. They are onsite for about one hour. If you are home, Rebecca will greet you and answer any questions and you are welcome to stay and go about your day. If no one is home, we follow your instructions and leave a business card to confirm the inspection is complete.We are required to photograph floors, walls and ceilings to document what has been inspected, as these records may be needed in the future. Rebecca is respectful and mindful of privacy at all times. Clinton will also inspect inside cupboards as part of his assessment.We understand inspections can feel intrusive and we appreciate your cooperation, time and patience.

What do you inspect?

We inspect both inside and outside your home including:
  • Driveways, fences, gates and paths
  • Steps, ramps, awnings, decks, verandas and outdoor entertaining areas
  • Rooves – inside and out (if possible)
  • Sheds and carports
  • Internal floors, walls and ceilings
  • Subfloors (if possible)
  • Bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, lounge and dining rooms (all rooms)

You will be contacted by one of our staff members to confirm your date, time & inspection price.
