- 2 years for non-shared pools.

You will need a pool safety certificate if you are:
- Selling a property
- Buying a property
- Leasing a property
WHEN WOULD A POOL HEALTH CHECK BE HELPFUL?
A pool must comply 100% of the time & the QBCC and local councils make no excuses for tight regulations regarding pool safety
If you have just recently put new tenants into a rental property with a current pool safety certificate but you would like peace of mind the barrier is still compliant
The $70 Pool Barrier Health Check is a cheaper way to have licenced Pool safety inspector issue documentation (date of this inspection & compliancy status) especially if the pool is not due for another certificate for some time
Also means if the pool is not compliant this information can be passed on to the property owners and any issues can be solved quickly for the new tenants
